2025 Youth Art Competition Exhibition
Colac Otway Shire Council’s Youth Engagement team are excited to present the 2025 Colac Otway Shire Youth Art Competition. Featuring two age categories: 12-18 and 19-25 years.
This year’s competition has revealed an extraordinary depth of talent and creativity, with a diverse array of artworks spanning sculpture, photography, digital art, painting, and drawing.
All artwork entries are now on display in the COPACC Gallery Foyer (95-97 Gellibrand Street, Colac) until Sunday 22 June 2025. Entries can also be viewed online via Council’s Facebook and Council’s Website.
Winners will be announced Friday, 20 June 2025 between 4pm-6pm in the COPACC Gallery Foyer. All welcome to attend.
People’s Choice voting is now open online on Council’s website, Facebook page and in person at the exhibition. Voting will close Thursday 19 June 2025 at 11:00am.

Under 12 Art Exhibition
Young artists under 12 showcase their artworks at COPACC! We excited to have a bonus art exhibition on display with the Youth Art Competition at COPACC Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre (95-97 Gellibrand Street, Colac) in the gallery foyer until Sunday 22 June 2025. The Under 12 Art Exhibition features artworks from the Forrest Youth Group and Art Adventures Group.

Creative Conservation: Youth Nesting Boxes Exhibition
In April, Colac Otway Shire Council’s Youth Engagement and Environment team held a Creative Conservation: Nesting Box Workshop for Colac Otway Youth aged 12-25.
Young artists painted and decorated nesting boxes made by the Colac Men’s Shed. The nesting boxes are now on display at COPACC Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre (95-97 Gellibrand Street, Colac) in the gallery foyer. These beautifully decorated nesting boxes will be installed across the Colac Otway Shire offering shelter, protection to native species and helping to maintain, boost local biodiversity. Well done to all the talented youth artists who participated!
