There are a range of WORKSHOPS and community activations:

Neroli Henderson - Happiness is

This no stress class explores the power of colour and meditative qualities of colouring and drawing basic shapes and pattern to give you a day where you can focus on the shapes and images that make you happy. And have a small sample to take home at the end of the day to help you remember to focus on the positive.

Explore the power of positive thinking, happy imagery, and in-tense colours in this fun, improvisational class using Posca Paint Pens on fabric. You will create a small piece  that you can use as an artwork to frame or quilt, or use the created fabric to make or decorate clothing or other items.
Neroli says: "You don’t need to be able to draw, I promise".  You will learn how to use repeatitive motifs to tie your artwork together visually,
echo patterning, a little colour theory and some fun design elements along the way. This is an easy, fun class using the very intensely coloured Posca Paint pens and suits all abilties.

Most materials will be provided. Please bring some practice paper and a greylead / black pen. Please note that this workshop requires all participants to be double vaxxed and wear a mask.

Important Facts to remember:

CrossXpollinatioN 2022 is once again under the enormously skilled artistic direction of Veronica Phillips and Andrew Delaney,

who we thank for being part of this year's exhibition.

There are 3 separate prizes on offer:

1. Impermanence Art Prize - $2000

All entries are to be 3D in nature.

The Impermanence Art Prize is proudly sponsored by COPACC and the Colac Otway Shire Council.

2. People's Choice Award - $500

Throughout CrossXpollinatioN, visitors are encouraged to vote for their favourite piece of work. Votes are tallied at the close of CrossXpollinatioN and announced via our social media pages. The People’s Choice Award is proudly sponsored by COPACC and the Colac Otway Shire Council.

3. Tarndie Fibre Art Award - valued at $1000

The Tarndie Fibre Art Award encourages artists to explore various types of wool as a medium. Wool is a renewable and biodegradable material that easily fits the current move towards a circular economy. Properly cared for, wool pieces can last for generations and extend the longevity of the raw materials.

To be eligible for this award, artists must use a minimum of 50 per cent wool in the piece.

A big thank you to our sponsor Tarndwarncoort for their ongoing and generous support.
