The teens who stole 60's Rock 'n' Roll

Acclaimed entertainers Amelia Ryan, Michaela Burger and Michael Griffiths shine in this joyous, triumphant and awe-inspiring celebration of the songwriters who transformed 1960’s Rock ‘n’ Roll forever.

In the heart of downtown New York City, a single building reshaped the musical scene, becoming a hit factory within a few years. Simply BRILL vividly recounts this transformative era, spotlighting legendary songwriters like Bill Haley & The Comets, Neil Sedaka, Bobby Darin, Carole King, Cynthia Weil, and Ellie Greenwich. Teenagers, previously unknown, “stole” 60’s rock n roll, crafting hits like Rock Around The Clock, Splish Splash, and You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling.

With Amelia, Michaela, Michael, and a live 5-piece band, Simply BRILL offers a rollicking homage to 20th century classics and the visionaries behind them.
